Description #

The Recommendations module enables churches to share lists of recommended resource links, organized by categories such as Worship, Evangelism, Books, or Podcasts, to support members’ spiritual growth and engagement.

Recommendations Page #

Description: The Recommendations page displays curated lists of resource links, organized by topics or media types, managed through a structured list format.

Managing Content:

  1. Go to Pages > Recommendations in the dashboard.
  2. Locate the Recommendations section in the page editor.
  3. Edit the lists:
    • Click “Add List” to create a new resource list.
    • For each list:
      • List Title: Enter a title (e.g., “Worship Resources”, required).
      • List Icon: Optionally select a Font Awesome icon (e.g., music note for Worship).
      • Recommendations: Click “Add Recommendation” to add items (at least one required per list):
        • Title: Enter the resource title (e.g., “The Purpose Driven Life”, required).
        • Link: Optionally add a URL (e.g., Amazon link or website).
        • Description: Optionally provide a brief description of the resource.
    • Add more lists as needed to cover different categories (e.g., Books, Podcasts).
  4. Click “Update” to save changes and display the lists on the “Recommendations” page under Resources.

Content Details: Enhance resource lists with:

  • Icons: Use Font Awesome icons to visually distinguish lists.
  • Links: Provide URLs for easy access to resources.
  • Descriptions: Add context to help members understand each resource’s value.
