The Ministries module allows churches to organize their ministries, with details like descriptions, ministry leaders, and schedules, categorized by areas and tags.

Module Options #
Customize the Ministries module to control how ministries are displayed.
- Navigate to Church Infinite > Website Settings > Modules > Ministries or Ministries > Options in the dashboard.
- Configure settings, such as:
- Display Options: Choose layout for ministry listings (e.g., grid or list).
- Default Contact: Set a default email for ministry inquiries.
- Save changes to apply settings across your website.
Content Management #
Ministries #
Description: Ministries are church programs or outreach efforts, such as youth ministry or community service, with details like leaders and schedules.
Adding:
- Go to Ministries > Add New in the dashboard.
- Enter a title (e.g., “Youth Ministry”) and description for the ministry.
- In the ministry details section:
- Assign areas (e.g., Youth) to categorize the ministry.
- Add tags for additional organization (e.g., “Outreach”).
- Select leaders (linked to People or Staff profiles).
- Specify a schedule (e.g., weekly meetings, event-based).
- Provide contact information (e.g., email, phone).
- Add a photo gallery for ministry activities.
- Upload a featured image for the ministry listing.
- Click “Publish” to display the ministry on the “Ministries” page under Get Involved.
Editing:
- Go to Ministries > All Ministries.
- Hover over the ministry and click “Edit”.
- Update the title, description, areas, tags, leaders, schedule, contact info, gallery, or image.
- Click “Update” to save changes.
Deleting:
- Go to Ministries > All Ministries.
- Hover over the ministry and click “Trash”.
- To permanently delete, go to Ministries > Trash, hover, and click “Delete Permanently”.
- Note: Deleted ministries cannot be recovered unless restored from a backup.
Ministry Details: Enhance ministries with:
- Photo Gallery: Upload images (e.g., 800x600px) to showcase activities.
- Schedule: Detail meeting times or events (e.g., “Saturdays at 6 PM”).
- Leaders: Link to People or Staff profiles for visibility.
Areas #
Description: Areas categorize ministries by focus or scope (e.g., Youth, Community Outreach).
Adding:
- Go to Ministries > Areas.
- Click “Add New Area”.
- Enter the area name (e.g., “Youth”).
- Save to add.
Editing:
- Go to Ministries > Areas.
- Hover over the area and click “Edit”.
- Update the name.
- Save changes.
Deleting:
- Go to Ministries > Areas.
- Hover over the area and click “Delete”.
- Confirm deletion.
- Note: Deleting an area removes it from associated ministries, but ministries remain published.
Area Organization: Organize ministries effectively:
- Use areas to group similar ministries (e.g., “Children’s Ministry”).
- Assign multiple areas to a ministry for broader categorization.
Tags #
Description: Tags provide flexible categorization for ministries (e.g., “Service”, “Missions”).
Adding:
- Go to Ministries > Tags.
- Click “Add New Tag”.
- Enter the tag name (e.g., “Service”).
- Save to add.
Editing:
- Go to Ministries > Tags.
- Hover over the tag and click “Edit”.
- Update the name.
- Save changes.
Deleting:
- Go to Ministries > Tags.
- Hover over the tag and click “Delete”.
- Confirm deletion.
- Note: Deleting a tag removes it from associated ministries, but ministries remain published.
Tag Flexibility: Enhance organization:
- Use tags for themes (e.g., “Missions”) or events (e.g., “Christmas”).
- Apply multiple tags for detailed filtering.
