Description #
The Beliefs module helps churches clearly communicate their tenets of faith to the world, with options to highlight The Gospel, Basic Beliefs, and Theological Distinctions, each with their own titles, descriptions, linked Bible verses, and relevant resources.
Module Integrations #
- Articles: Links articles as resources in Basic Beliefs and Theological Distinctions, connecting doctrinal content.
- Podcasts: Links podcast episodes as resources to support faith teachings.
- Sermons: Links sermons as resources to reinforce beliefs.
- Testimonies: Links testimonies as resources to illustrate faith stories.
Module Options #
Customize the Beliefs module to control how content is displayed.
- Navigate to Church Infinite > Website Settings > Modules > Beliefs in the dashboard.
- Configure display settings, such as enabling or disabling sections (e.g., Theological Distinctions).
- Save changes to apply settings to the “Beliefs” page under About.
Managing Content #
The Gospel #
Description: The Gospel section presents a core statement of your church’s faith, such as the message of salvation.
Managing Content:
- Go to Pages > Beliefs in the dashboard.
- Locate the The Gospel section on the page editor.
- Enable or disable the section using the toggle switch.
- Add or edit:
- Title: Enter a title (max 45 characters, default “The Gospel”).
- Description: Write a detailed explanation of the Gospel message.
- Bible Verses: Include verses (e.g., “John 3:16”) to support the message.
- Image: Optionally upload an image (e.g., 800x400px) for visual appeal.
- Click “Update” to save changes and update the “Beliefs” page.
Display Options: Customize visibility:
- Enable/Disable: Show or hide The Gospel section.
- Image: Use an image to enhance the section’s appearance on the page.
Basic Beliefs #
Description: Basic Beliefs outline foundational doctrines of your church, such as beliefs about the Bible or God.
Managing Content:
- Go to Pages > Beliefs.
- Locate the Basic Beliefs section on the page editor.
- Add or edit beliefs:
- Title: Enter a belief title (e.g., “The Bible”).
- Description: Write a detailed explanation of the belief.
- Bible Verses: Include at least one verse (e.g., “2 Timothy 3:16”).
- Resources: Link to related content from Articles, Podcasts, Sermons, or Testimonies (select from available items).
- Click “Add Another Belief” to include additional beliefs.
- Click “Update” to save changes and update the “Beliefs” page.
Display Options: Customize presentation:
- Order: Reorder beliefs using drag-and-drop to prioritize key doctrines.
- Resources: Display linked resources as buttons or links on the page.
Theological Distinctions #
Description: Theological Distinctions highlight unique or denominational beliefs that set your church apart.
Managing Content:
- Go to Pages > Beliefs.
- Locate the Theological Distinctions section on the page editor.
- Enable or disable the section using the toggle switch.
- Add or edit distinctions:
- Title: Enter a distinction title (e.g., “Baptism”).
- Description: Write a detailed explanation.
- Bible Verses: Include verses (e.g., “Matthew 28:19”).
- Resources: Link to Articles, Podcasts, Sermons, or Testimonies.
- Click “Add Another Distinction” to include additional distinctions.
- Click “Update” to save changes and update the “Beliefs” page.
Display Options: Customize visibility:
