Ministries

Serving those in & out of the church.

Ministries is so feature-packed that it’s like you have the ability to give each one its own website.

Filters

Filters are a great way to both keep ministries organized on the back end and sort through them on the front end.

Members of a particular church location often are most interested in learning about those ministries near them, while others prefer to search based on certain formats or activities.

Associated Staff

Each ministry can be associated with one or more staff members. Simply add them on the ministry’s profile on the backend and they will show up on the ministry’s page on the frontend. Each staff member has the option of also being featured, which will cause them to be displayed both more prominently and with a message/quote.

For each staff member, any associated ministries will also be displayed as links on their frontend profile page, completing the bidirectional relationship.

In addition to being displayed, associated staff are also eligible to be designated to receive inquiry notifications by email for that particular ministry.

Associated Activities

Ministries can be associated with any number of events and/or groups on the latter’s respective edit pages on the backend. This will cause links to be mutually displayed on the frontend profile pages.

Action Buttons

Have an upcoming ministry event or want to provide a quick link to give toward a particular cause? Action buttons are a great way to get users’ attention and direct them right from the start.

Button titles and links can either be input manually or conveniently chosen and populated from a list of existing website content such as pages, events, and donation forms, etc.

Participant Management

Ministry staff can manage the list of associated People profiles, adding or removing them from the ministry participant list. Staff can also email participants, keeping them aware of the latest ministry updates. Ministry info variables and customizable templates makes the emailing process both convenient and powerful.

Resources

Providing extra resources related to a ministry right on its profile page can be an effective and convenient way to keep interested people or members informed and engaged.

Have a PDF guidebook about joining the worship team? Upload files and make them available for direct download. Know of a great article on Christianity.com discussing the rise of homeschooling? Flexibly link to that and other destinations beyond the church’s website. Relevant sermons on your website can also be selected and displayed to inspire and inform people about your ministry’s cause.

Inquiries

A location inquiry can be sent from any individual ministry’s web page. This is a chance for a person interested in a particular ministry to contact a representative directly. Inquiries are automatically directed through the system to the ministry’s designated recipient: either the website admin, a staff member, or a specific email address.
