Missions

Connected with those who reach the world.

Give the missionaries your church supports a comprehensive stage to share with the church who they are and what they do.

Make missions come alive.
One missionary profile at a time.

The Missions module makes sure that the missionaries associated with your church are never forgotten as it provides each missionary with their own page containing areas for their ministry description, personal introduction, service destination, contact details, etc. Photos and videos are easily included. Events in the Events module can be designated as missions trips, allowing participants to have their own Missionary pages until the end date of their trip.

Reusable Destinations

Keeping with the philosophy of never having to enter the same information twice, destinations as well as all their relevant details can be saved for use with multiple missionaries.

Destinations can be as general or specific as needed, from a continent (“Europe”) to even a part of a city (“Paris”). Both the map address and zoom level can be tailored. In addition to a region, a country may also be assigned, automatically displaying its flag.

A destination is rounded out by a description, description link, and gallery photos.

Dedicated Giving Forms

Whether it be for ongoing, regular support or one-time causes, missionaries can be associated with dedicated giving forms that will show up both on their missionary profile page and the Giving page.

No more deciphering the memo lines of checks as dedicated giving forms simplify the process. Bring the cause(s) to life by including pictures, a description, and even a donation goal displaying progress in real time.

Prayer Points

Integrating with the Prayer module, prayer points allow missionaries to keep the church updated with their latest prayer needs. Missionaries can add as many prayer points as they want, which will then be displayed on their Missionary profile page.

In addition to a title each prayer point can optionally include a relevant Bible reference and a description, going into greater detail of the situation.

Flexible Regions

Destinations are grouped by regions, which can be as simple as “US” and “International”, can be defined by continents (any missionaries in Antarctica?), or any where in between. For example, one church could have an “Asia” region while another opts to divide that into “Middle East”, “Indian Subcontinent”, “Southeast Asia”, etc.

Missionaries can then by filtered by region on the Missionaries page. And each missionary profile page display its region.

Organizations

Save a missions organization once, then link it to one or more missionaries thereafter, no redundant input needed.

The organizations’ title, logo, description, and link will be displayed on every missionary profile it’s associated with.

And any other...

Missions Trips

Any events tagged with the “Missions” event category become designated as short-term Missions trips and will then be featured as such both on the Missions and Events pages.

Trip participants can then be created as Missionaries in the system and linked to their respective missions trip event. This will cause their Missionary profiles to be displayed for the duration of their missions trip, after which they’ll automatically be deactivated, keeping the website up to date.

Sermons

It’s common for missionaries to share guest sermons at churches they visit. Integrating with the Sermons module, the missionary’s profile can be linked to their sermons, which will then be displayed both on their Missionary profile page and the Sermons page.

Story Sharing

Through integration with the Testimonies module, missionaries can write their own salvation story, which will then be displayed in the website’s Testimonies section and linked to from their Missionary profile page.

This helps both the church to get to know the missionary better, while allowing the missionary to contribute to the church’s online gospel presentation.

Filters

Filters are a great way to both keep events organized on the back end and sort through them on the front end.

Members of a particular church location often are most interested in seeing those events near them, while others prefer to search based on certain formats, activities, or ministries.

Video

In addition to a ministry description using text, a video link can also be provided. The video will then automatically be displayed perfectly styled in the ministry description section on the Missionary profile page, giving users a more well-rounded, multimedia experience and understanding of the missionary’s work.
